Setup for Retopology in Uniform

Advanced
modelling
The retopology features in Uniform enable creating low-poly meshes from high-poly models or generating base meshes for accessories. Begin by importing a high-poly mesh via the GeoMesh section or using an existing scene. Activate the retopology preset in global overrides to configure snapping and overlay settings. Use the Quad Build Mesh tool to create a low-poly mesh, then refine topology with PolyBuild or CozyBlanket for quad-based drawing. Adjust occlusion thresholds if vertex selection fails. Alternatively, outline shapes with New Contour and extend strips with Extend Contour. For symmetrical models, apply Symmetrize PolyMesh before finalizing. Clear overrides afterward to restore default tool behavior.
